Getting Here From East Kilbride
From East Kilbride to our rug showroom by car is a little over 20 minutes and at less than an hour by public transport.
By Car
To visit Love-Rugs rug showroom from East Kilbride the quickest route is to join the M74 north.
Leave East Kilbride via Markethill Road and continue on taking the right hand split on to Cairnmuir Road. After around 1 mile this road has a slight left onto Glasgow Road which continues on to East Kilbride Road, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout, through Cathkin and into Burnside, you will eventually come to a T-junction where you will turn right onto the A749 Stonelaw Road. Continue on and make a right turn at Stonelaw Church onto Dryburgh Avenue then the 1st exit at the roundabout followed by 3rd exit at the next roundabout. This will take you to a junction on the Hamiltion Road where you will turn right then soon after take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Cambuslang Road. Use the left lane to merge onto M74 via the slip road to Glasgow Arpt/Kilmarnock for just over 3 miles then use the 2nd from the left lane to take the exit towards Tradeston. Turn right onto Carnoustie Street, then turn right at the 1st cross street onto A8. Finally turn left onto Commerce Street and Love-Rugs will be on your right.
There is pay and display parking outside, and should there not be a space you can take an immediate right before crossing the bridge and loop back around.
By Public Transport
Take the 18 bus towards City Centre, Holland St and exit at Dalmarnock Train Station.
Here you can take a train to Glasgow Central Station and exit at Hope Street, walking south towards Oswald Street then cross the water via the King George V bridge and Love-Rugs will be on your left (just over 5 minutes walk in total).
