We pride ourselves on delivering products as quickly as possible to our customers.
Delivery to mainland UK is free for orders over £150. Orders under this value have a standard delivery charge of £9.95.
International customers should contact us prior to order as shipping options will need to be discussed and can vary greatly from rug to rug.
We are a small family business, but we do have a large retail showroom and distribution warehouse with over 1000 products in stock at any one time. Our collection of rugs on display is one of the largest physical collections in the UK.
We have stock currently stored in our own warehouse and dedicated space within our suppliers premises. Delivery times can vary as products sometimes need to be moved between warehouses.
Once booked for delivery your rug will generally arrive next day delivery, we will send you details and tracking codes when available. Larger sizes, Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands postage may differ and take longer.
When we need to move product from our suppliers' warehouse to our own this can take around 5 working days to reach you due to multiple shipping points
During the busiest buying periods like Christmas, it can take 7 working days for orders to reach customers. We currently stock around 30% of our offering at our own dedicated warehouse which is all next day delivery.

If for any reason you feel your rug is not suitable you can return it to us for a full refund of your original purchase price. We simply ask that you return it to us securely packaged in unsed condition, within 28 days of receiving your order.
Please let us know that you intend to send your order back to us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receipt and we will provide you with any further details you may need to attach to the package.

A Tree Planted With Every Rug Purchase
For every rug we sell, Love-Rugs, in partnership with Ecologi, will plant a tree. Helping us all to give back to the environment and achieve reforestation.
By purchasing through Love-Rugs you are lowering your carbon foot-print and removing on average 308kg of harmful CO2 from the air over the tree's lifespan.
If for any reason you feel your rug is not suitable you can return it to us for a full refund of your original purchase price. We simply ask that you return it to us within 28 days of receiving your order.
We ask that when you first receive your rug(s) that you retain the original packaging in case you need to return any items you feel are not suitable. Any rugs that are returned must be suitably sealed in secure packaging to protect them from water damage or any physical damage, including dragging, during transit. If you return goods to us that have clear signs of use, are dirty or damaged then a refund will not be issued. Love-Rugs will not accept any responsibility for goods damaged in transit while being returned.
We advise the use of insured delivery services when returning your order.

Returning Your Item
Whilst we do not recommend any particular courier or service, we find the following websites are useful for comparison purposes. These websites allow you to enter the dimensions and weight of your return and will provide various options for delivery. Please ensure that you select a service that delivers to our door rather than a collection point. You may find it more convenient to choose a service that allows you to drop off your return (depending on size) at a local store, or have it collected from your work/home, depending on your own circumstances.

Some of the above services are better priced for larger items, others better priced for smaller or lower-weight rugs so it may be worthwhile entering the same dimensions and weights into a few to gain an idea of what is and is not a good price.
We have a 28-day online return policy, which means you have 28 days after receiving your rug(s) to return them, ideally informing us within 14 days of receipt. In-store purchases must be returned within 14 days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase if returning in-store.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Should your rug be damaged or defective on receipt we will organise a collection and exchange.
If your order arrives clearly damaged or the outer packaging looks to be damaged, suggesting that the rug(s) have been damaged in transit, please record this with the courier and take photographs if at all possible. Please also retain the packaging if opening the rugs to inspect, as this, or photographic evidence of this, is often requested by the courier should we look to claim any insurance.
Rugs that are made to order, custom or bespoke are non-refundable once work has started.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or items sold on clearance that are advertised as damaged.
If you would prefer to exchange your rug for a different size or design please contact us as early as possible at email@example.com and we will arrange this with you.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If your return is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take several working days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For orders over £150 to be delivered within Mainland UK, shipping is free.
For orders under £150 to be delivered within the UK, there is a flat fee of £9.95.
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Commerce Street showroom (11 Commerce Street, Glasgow, G5 8AB). After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 24 hours days if express delivery is highlighted for that particular size. Otherwise, we will contact you once your item(s) are ready to be collected. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
Our in-store pickup hours are 10 am Monday to Saturday and 12-4 pm on Sundays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you arrive.
We offer international shipping however these rates can vary massively from one country and one rug/size to the next, so contact us prior to purchase for a bespoke shipping quote. Otherwise, we will contact you after purchase to collect the relevant shipping fee.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Love-Rugs is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 28 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. You should contact us within 14 days of receipt to inform us of your intention to return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. Please also retain any packaging as images of this may be required. Damage should be noted to the delivery driver where at all possible.
