We were contacted by an avid football fan, in this case a supporter of Charlton Athletic Football Club, to have his clubs’ emblem transformed into a quality hand-tufted woollen rug.
Similar to a custom logo rug for a business, charity or organisation but for the home this custom commission took the design and colours of the clubs’ official badge to create the rug from it. We compared the colour from the badge with our wool colour box which boasts 1,400 different shades of wool in order to get a close match. The client decided rather than having the rug circular to mimic the badge he would like the background of the emblem to extend to create a square piece.
